No WBY Mark xxII for me, Boo WSS

Well, after placing my order Sunday for the above Rimfire, of which wss said they had 3 in stock, just not in Calgary, they told me today that they were either sold or falsely indicated as in stock, so they cancelled my order.... Booo. I had asked them to place a hold for me on 1 of them so I would be sure to get one,, but they said they couldn't cause it was at a store other than Calgary,

They were very nice to me otherwise and very helpful.

Now, anythoughts on what to purchase instead? Looking at cz 455 combo with the 17hmr and 22lr barrels, any thoughts? Suggestions?

Of course typical WSS it could be posted as on sale, but they actually have no stock.

Yea 650$ was gr8 price, the cooper is at 1200 or 1300$ I believe. I originally wanted to spend about 500$, bumped it up for the xxII, the cz 455 is almost 600$ with 2 barels and shipping, most reviews seem to say it's not as good as the 452 which it is supposed to replace, but I like the idea of interchangable barrels (17hmr and 22lr included, can buy 22magnum barrel seperatly) anyone have first hand exp with this one?
 
Cabelas will only price match if the item is in stock. They have quite a few in Edmonton but they will not price match WSS because there is no stock on them. I checked yesterday.

Wss in Regina has one on the rack, didn't check for caliber though. They sgould be able to do dealer transfer. Had reg price $899 sticker. Place was a zoo today and short staff.

Umm, I was told yesterday that Regina had NONE in stock in 22lr,, that it was a mistake in their inventory.......WTF. I canceled my order cause of this............now it's at regular price and in stock?
 
I was at WWS North in Edmonton last night. The sales guy said that there was one .22 LR in Regina. I asked him to call them to see if they had one in 17 HMR but they were out of stock. He asked me if I wanted the .22 LR and if I did he could have it transferred to Edmonton.

Wow thx a lot for this info.. I'm gonna call them tomorrow and lose my marbles....I already ordered another rifle.... Cz455 combo with 17hmr and 22lr barrels from another company.......

Edit: was it at 650$ or 899$ ?

WTF is going on here...I was just at WSS South Edmonton tonight and the guy behind the gun counter said that they had a clearance sale on the Mark XXII's but on the computer he is showing one .22lr left in Regina. He said that if I wanted it he could have it transferred to Edmonton. Damn, how many times are they going to transfer this gun? I wonder if they even have one. :confused::confused::confused:

LOL, sad to say but never spending my money at that place. Not sure if they are playing games or just INCOMPETENT. lol. anyway i feel better, got my new gun today, will start a new thread, I'm too excited,lol.
