No1 Mk3 Magazine Cutoff

Hey all,

I'm adding a magazine cutoff to an all matching 1913 No1. Mk 3 for a fellow, however the cutoff plate I received from TradeEx has a bend in it from end to end. This is causing pressure on both ends of the plate... which in turn is not allowing it to be installed into the receiver slot.

Is this bend supposed to be there? Or should it be completely flat? As well, does anyone have an extra screw to install the plate they'd be willing to part with?

my lithgow plate has a bend too keeps pressure on the back end when its screwed in

It should be bent. This part is its own spring; just another incidence of really decent design.

Just push the pivot end in first, then bend the plate down to get the back end into the action. No worries.

One reason you have to push down on the cut off so the bump on it will cleas the slot in the reciever.
You should have LOTS OF FUN installing the screw! It's flat ended for some reason, so the hole in the cut off must be EXACTLY lined up with the hole in the reciever.
