no1 mkiii synth stock OR build me a tanker

Looking for an inexpensive synthetic stock and a scope mount for my already bubbed no1mkiii (please don't hang me!! The tip was nipped, none of the numbers match, the sporter stock doesn't fit right at all, etc. etc. BEFORE I got it!!!). I was going to use combat hunting but they will no longer ship to Canada.

Or maybe some one out there wants to fit the full wood to the short barrel and make me a "tanker" ;)
 
"...make me a "tanker"..." No such thing.
"...to the short barrel..." How short is it?
"...sporter stock doesn't fit..." How? You or the rifle? Somebody might have tried a synthetic for a No. 4. Check the headspace before you spend any money.
 
I'm not just sure how short the barrel is. I was told when I got it that the tip had been nipped. The stock is made of wood however the butt is a totally different color than the front and is cracked/wobbly. She shoots like a dream even with the ugly stock on it and I was wanting to clean her up a bit.

Ah my handywork :D

easier to work with the No4 then the No1

for the No1 if your going to scope it your going to have to have it drilled ans tapped for a scope base.

As for the synthetic stock there are many out there, I think Marstar may have them is stock.
