Here are some words of wisdom to all those young bucks from an old stag.
Get yerself an old beat up soft rifle case, the kind that can fold up fairly small. Make a habit of carrying a rifle, any rifle out to the car and back into your gun room/basement/man cave.
If asked, you are just taking the same old rifle that you have had for years to the range, to your buddies for maintenance, to clean, to sell (that is always a good one!) whatever.
Then, when a new rifle comes along. Into the house it goes in the case. If asked, yup, just another trip with the same old rifle.
Never, ever allow SWMBO the opportunity to count guns in the safe (safes). I never count the shoes that fill the closet!
This technique has worked for me for 30 years. Never been called out on it.
I'm up to ### Enfields and I still NEED a few more to round out the collection.
Looks like over 200 rifles were sold. Only 3 showed up on EE that is less then 2%. Impulse buying. I'm still holding for Westrifle to bring his enfields but it starts to look like nothing will come out from Westrifle
I had my finger hovering over the purchase button for one of those LB's from Corwin ...feeling somewhat relieved I held off.
Does the fact that several of them are turning up on the EE very shortly after arriving at their new homes, make them seem questionable to anyone else?
*you read my mind Philthy1
Forgive me if this has already been discussed previously ....but what is the history behind these batches of LB rifles? Where are they getting them in such quantities?
