No4 Mk1 experts please help ID this mark.

F T R = Factory thorough repair. Not sure on the "M" but might be Maltby. You can see the faint "F" on the left side, the "T" on top and the "R" on the right side in a triangular formation.

Unsure on the other stamp.
 
It is Factory Thorough Repair Maltby.

A fairly rare marking as Maltby shut down in early '46.

The round stamp is a typical Maltby inspection stamp.

Can you tell us where and when you rifle was manufactured? (eg BSA "B" or M47 or M47C, Maltby, stylized "M" Fazakerly "F" or ROF(F))

I Have the same markings on my 43 Maltby it has been FTR twice , that last time in 49
