I have a deal pending for a savage all matching, with savage wood, the wood seems too be in great condition, and the metal aswell, the guy says the bore is great, now my question is, how much would a very good-excelent savage run me? In dollars (just checking if I'm getting the short or long part of the shaft here)

If it is as good as you say, then bottem end should be $400. And it goes up from there. If it was in original, as issued,unaltered condition you could expect to pay into the $500 range. I wouldn't pay that much only because I am too cheap.

I've got one all matching in beautiful shape and I was thinking I'd never sell it for less than $500.

Last year I sold exc condition matching savage for 500, I now wish I would of kept it.
