I probably have about 400 and still have my first one.
I sold some of the high end rare models.
I still get excited when I come across a good quality bayonet.
If you are going to collect them you will have to get the books. I have books that are a broad type and others are specific and detailed.

Found mine in an antique shop for $7
I think I need one or two to have all the bayonets for the No. 4 rifle. It's daft as hell, but having the accessories is fun. The really daft part is what they're worth now. Who would have thought a spike would ever be worth $10?
