I plan to. And when I get a piece of equipment, I want and expect it to work perfectly. When it doesn't, I fix it or get rid of it. Good enough may be good enough for most, but it is not for me. It works 100% or it goes. 3.5 MOA is not acceptable, 10.5 inches is a miss as far as I'm concerned. A moose might not notice, but a V-bull will.
If simply switching the sight corrects the problem, I would rather do that than spend time (something I don't have a lot of) fixing it. But, if fixing it is the only way to correct this, so be it, it will get fixed and they will match up. It isn't difficult to fix, but still chews up time. I also want to be able to restore the rifle to it's original state, so I need a second sight regardless.
