what scope mount is that?

that scope looks good on there i think maybe it is the shape. what is that scope. I like your rifle both ways.

Thanks, sorry about the confusion with the pics,I find photobucket cut and paste a bit of a pain in the a$$,any suggestions for an easier, more user friendly site?

Thanks for the tech help Desporterizer:D

Build your post on a Word doc. and then cut & paste the whole thing. Are you using Photobucket's single-click copy? You just run your mouse over the image, the drop down comes up, hover over the .img addy @ the bottom, left clic (it'll now show "copied" in the .img box) and then drop it into your .doc file. Super easy! Should take less time to set your images than type your post. :D

Someone may correct me however I believe Parker-Hale bought, modified{sporterized} and resold these firearms to the public back in the 1960's. The scope bases and rings are Parker-hale and the scope is a Weaver x4 I think.
The nice thing about the sport job {if there could be a NICE thing about it} is that it was professionally done ie.barrel intact {no chop} the front base would be tapped to the receiver but the rear is mounted to a plate the mearly replaced the rear MkIII sight. If you can find any of these rifles I would recommend the purchase, parts are out there to be found and if there too dear I think you can find reproduced stuff as well.

BTW I have the proper rear flip micrometer sight as well,I'll install later:D
