No5mk1 Sporter value

Overall the condition of the rifle looks good, but the scope base puts it beyond restoring. The sporter stock is nicer than some, so someone might like it a bit more than $250, but you might never find that someone. If I didn't have one already I'd want this one.
 
It's a set of Italian wood from Parker Hale on a No.5, now drilled & tapped. Keep it as a sporter or sell to someone who has good No.5 wood, but more severely bubba'd metal
