RJ; I have burned a lot of that old 104. It also has been marketed by Higginsons as 47N. It is just a tad faster burning than is IMR 4350.
I usually start about 2 grains below what is listed for IMR4350 starting loads. BTW, This is a great powder. Gives good velocity and is a
clean burner. My pet load in 30-06 behind a 165 is 58.5 grains [WW case, CCI 200 primer, .020 off lands] Eagleye.

Make sure you check that powder carefully for clumping and sweating. Eagleye and I both have had it break down.

If you want some go to loads, I found it to be identical to N160

BH, That is not the same powder as we had that went so bad. It is from a different original source.
I never had any of the HP104 [47N] go bad, even after years. I have a 7 lb container still, and a
couple of additional pounds of it and it is perfect still. The stuff we had that went south was OEM4350
[N160] It was actually slightly slower burning than IMR 4350, while the 104 is slightly faster. D.
