Now this is what ive been looking for. I got this idea from SleepyG... he did it first. I liked his so much I got one too. He didnt use the IDZ top rail because, as he pointed out to me in his thread, the folding sights on the IDZ top rail are not adjustable. But the sights on the stock rail interfere with my scope so I put the IDZ top rail on and like it with the sights folded down. Ill test out the folding sights to see how far off they are when I get a chance.

The stock itself is extremely well made. Feels exactly like the actual Nomad chassis in its quality. Plastic is not flimsy at all... everything works nice and smooth. I had to do a little bit of filing on the hinge's of the stock to get it to fit. The hinge sections were just a hair wider than spaces on the chassis. Took maybe 10 minutes with a small hand file. Once it was installed, the folding latch did work fine. But I dont like folders and knew id never use it so I installed 2 screws and locked it open.

The stock extends in 2 direction. It extends in length about 3 or 4 inches with a hidden latch on the bottom side of the stock and the upper front of the stock can be raised and lowered maybe an inch to an inch and a half with the silver button on the side of the stock. Not really sure what that adjustment is for, but its cool that it does it. Once extended it makes the LOP perfect for me. Im 6.1 and have long arms. The factory Nomad stock was WAY too short.

Now, my only complaint with this stock (other than its price) is that the actual butt is plastic, not rubber. Its a convex shape, not concave as most every other stock is. It still shoulders fine and honestly, its a bit easier to move around on your shoulder... but its really hard. Im going to try some foam on mine but the other option would be to re-shape it into a concave shape and add some foam. That would be ideal.

The top rail is a well made piece. Fits a little different than the factory Nomad top rail but feels like its made of the same material and, as you can see looks completely at home on the gun. Uses the factory screws and metal plates.

I ordered this stock from RedWolf Airsoft... I think they are in japan or something. Took about a week and a half to arrive and came in a nice looking box full of foam. It wasent cheap, at $80 shipped. But to me, to have this gun fit me correctly for the first time, it was well worth it.

now for the pics:

I have a feeling that we are going to see a lot of Nomad's with this stock on it... I also got the idea from SleepyG and mine should be here by the end of the week.

I'm glad to see the scope on yours, I've been wanting to get rid of my red-dot and put a scope on it and wasn't sure how a regular scope vs a (cheap) tactical would look, but it looks pretty sweet!

The IDZ version is plastic like the nomad top rail. Its sturdy... why do you need aluminum? Im sure there are parts out there for real G36's that would fit.

Weights at leasts double what the factory folder weights... which really balances the gun better IMO. It weights only a tiny bit more than the adapter, aluminum tube and sliding stock I had on before but looks and feels way better.

Just bought a built nomad, I ordered one of these but they only ship express if you (FRAUD ALERT) or visa? Have to do the bank wire transfer or a MO to get the cheap shipping. Makes it abit of a pain. Yours looks sick man and I will get one for mine very soon.
