Ok.. Let’s say when I started working at my job. (computer/satellite t.v shop) When I told them that I was a hunter and wanted 3-5 weeks a year off for my sport. I came real close to losing my job. With them saying “how could I kill something”. But now after working there for 4 years. I can say I “changed them” now there more then willing to let me go. (but I have to remember to bring in some deer meat for them for lunch. and bring in some for them to take home.)

Now out of no where one day I go to work and some one asked me did I read the paper today. I told them no. then she showed me the article that she wrote.

What we need more of!! Nice thoughtful article that shows how we can win over some who do not understand our love for the outdoors and our desire to hunt. Keep up the good work, and congratulations to the writer of that article. Regards, Eagleye.

not so rare

I had a female friend down Toronto way, a fancy-dressed Liberal animal-lover who thought guns the devil's tools. Then she married a nice guy from French River and now she is a confirmed hunter and pretty sharp shooter.

are you the person in that article that she lobbied for? or is it coincidental? great to hear in either case. i have yet to go on my first hunt.

By. The. Gods.

It's like she took information, thought about it, and made a decision based on that information.

Awesome, it's great when people can respect other people's views and lifestyles, even when they may conflict slightly with their own.
