Good day all. I was wondering if there is a good non match version of 22lr for practice. I use Sk and Eley in my 457.
I have an A22 precision and would like to burn some decent ammo though it without going broke.
There are a lot out there, just looking for reasonable consistency to have a good time plinking.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Cheers

Cci sv
Norma tac22

Are my 2 go tos
I agree, I find in all of my rifles, Tac22 seems to have a bit of an edge over CCI SV when it comes to accuracy and reliability. Maybe I am lucky, but not a single misfire with Tac22 in about 2000 rounds. At least a couple misfires with CCI SV per brick.

I just run Aguila Lead 22LR. Was under 200$ before tax for 2000rds. Havent really tested the max accuracy from it. But the couple guns I used it in. Will put it in under 3 inches un supported at 50. Im sure supported on a bench. Will do max a inch.

I picked up 8000rds.

Thank you, very useful info.
One follow up, has anyone had experience with Sellar bellot Canadian match 22lr..?
All three are avail local with very similar prices at different locations. I only want two drive to one shop for one of the three ammo's, which one would you drive to pick up
cheers

Cci SV is my go to cheap-ish option.

Last year or the year before one of the dealers was selling rws Club for cheap during Black Friday. I bought a bunch of that for the same price as I usually buy cci sv.

Except for the occasional flyer, CCI SV is really good for plinking and practice. Generally, it's pretty accurate in my rifle. Shooting 10 shot groups, I'd expect 2 or 3 groups to have a round where it shouldn't be. šŸ˜Ž
