Non resident moose hunters in Ontario

Can a non resident apply for a tag in the moose draw the same as a resident? And does that hunter need a guide in every WMU, or just certain ones? Thanks guys!

You would need an outdoors card to apply, and need to be an Ontario resident to get an outdoors card, so I would say no.

A guide would only be required in the WMU's outlines as such in the regs.

on page 44 of the Hunting Regulations Summary 2008
. non residents may hunt with an immediate relitive who is an Ontario resident licensed to hunt moose in a WMU that hasan open season for non-residents.Immediate relitive when used in reference to a person ,means that persons,grandparent,parent,spouse,child,sibling or grandchild.If you qualify under this exception,you may apply in the residentmoose draw for an adult validation tag.You must purchase a moose licence and submit your application,along with your affidavit verifing your relationship to your immediate relitiveto a ServiceOntario Center in the area in which you wish to hunt
