Non-restricted .22 AR Build?

Hello everyone

I was looking into buying a S&W M&P 15-22 but I really hate how its restricted. Doing a little bit of research I could buy a Ruger 10-22 and rebuild it to be almost exactly the same on the outside.

I was looking for any experiences of anyone who has done something similar or any advice.

Ruger SR22 + some mods and it's about as good as you can get, reliable, good looking, accurate, etc

Why not just buy the Ruger SR-22??

because by the time you make it look like an AR you will be spending lots of money!

buy a 10/22, archangel kit, and glue (broken) AR mag to bottom of rotary mag. Should be around $400-$450 total or buy the SR-22 for $500 and do the mag trick

Where is the best place to purchase an Archangel kit? I live in Vancouver.

We should have Archangel kits in stock in 2-3 weeks. Price is expected to be $199.99 unless we find them cheaper for sale in Canada.

We will likely be selling complete Archangel 10/22's with TI 25/22 mags for $499.99.

check youtube it shows them doing conversions of 22s like the ruger and mossberg semiautos using airsoft bodies.some really cool looking rigs.some are g36,p90 and one is saw 240 conversion.one kid did his for $125 [US prices of course}rifle and $15 for the airsoft body.kind of cool and cheap as well.just refine search depending on make.
