Buy a used Tavor for $1700 and be done with it.

Tavor above $1500? Have you seen them for less than $1500? Fric, you can barely buy a pos T97 for $1500 any more if you want the flat top.
Even at $3000 when the Tavor was new to the market here it was still a good rifle for a reasonable price. Now that they are below $2000 anyone that has ever considered one should be buying one.
As to your sig line, yes we are expected to pay for these people to ruin our country. Trudeau is the worst thing to happen to Canada in many years. He has to let in all the refugees because after all the crap he's pulled no one else will vote for him.

I used to have that attitude, now I just buy what I want and sell it when I get bored of it or when something I perceive as better comes along. That's the beauty of firearms, if it's a quality firearm you can almost always sell it for close to what you paid.
From reading through the other hundred or so "what NR rifle" threads exactly like this I can tell you...
1. $1000 doesn't buy a good "fake" AR.
2. The SL-8 is the best black rifle as far as accuracy goes but is considered heavy here.
2. The Tavor is the best black rifle as far as weight and balance is concerned but it's accuracy is for gongs, not bullseyes.
3. All the pistol caliber black rifles are pretty underwhelming except for the Vector. It's available in 10mm now which makes it the most interesting of the lot.
4. Anything by Kel-Tec is a pass unless it's the RFB.
5. ATRS would have had a decent rifle in this class if it wasn't priced so far out in left field. It's mediocre performance for the $$$ makes me scratch my head and wonder.
Setting an unrealistic price and then asking what can I get that is good doesn't work with guns just like it doesn't work with any other sport/hobby.

The 10mm Vector would be a lot more exciting than the two I owned in 45 auto. The problems with 10mm auto are that in order to truely experience 10mm you have to handload for it since almost all factory loads are barely any hotter than 40S&W and factory loads are pretty expensive. I have a pistol in 10mm and it hardly ever gets used because I hate losing brass for it and it uses a lot more powder than 45 or 9.
My Modern Hunter has shot a 10 round 1.4 moa group with handloads I hardly put any effort into developing and I've only had two malfunctions since I got it, both were with the same factory ammo. Not really sure I'd call it mediocre performance. I also shoot with four other guys that own a Modern Hunter or Varmint and none of them are complaining either.

If u honestly think the Sub2000's, JRC's or the CX4's are underwhelming, then im afraid ur just a hard man to please.
I love mine. I hardly ever shoot my AR anymore.
I prefer to train with the rifle that I will most likely be using and so the non-restricted gets the nod.
I have other words to describe them but I thought I would be nice about it.

Sorry, I've tried most of them and after a couple thousand rounds when I first get them they all end up sitting in the gun safe when I go shooting. The best things about them is they are cheap to shoot with almost no recoil, other than that they're not much more exciting than a nice 22LR. The only exception is my 9mm AR, for some reason I never get tired of shooting that one. The only thing I can think of is that when I looked at my Vectors or the HK USC all I saw was $2000 tied up in a rifle that I could use away from the range but didn't have enough power to hunt with or use for anything practical. If it was your only non restricted mag fed semi auto I could understand people liking them more but since I usually have at least two non restricted 223's and a couple non restricted semi auto 308 class rifles I always grab something with some more boom when heading out to play in the yard.
Maybe you're just easy to please.

Kel-Tec has a lot of appeal I've had a couple sub 2000's and the SU16FS. Durability IS a problem with them, they're cheaply made with cheap polymers, crap tons of screws and are NOT serviceable.
If you have one and it works for you, great. However, I strongly urge people to think twice about these models and variants. I was tempted when seeing the new survival rifle bullpup model if it ever comes here, but I'll also need to come back to my senses. They have excellent designs, but bad materials and assembly techniques due to those choices.

Caramel, I've heard you say this a number of times. I'll take it off your hands with guaranteed positive trader rating if the price is right. You know you can upgrade the gas block, tube and muzzle brake to fix all your perceived accuracy issues eh?
