Synthetic....it isn't a lego.

Makes it super light too. like 6-7lbs. I got .22's way heavier than that. I don't know bout the rest of you, but when I'm romping a few kms around the bush the ar180b's light weight is a big plus.

Definatly, the XCR is built SOLID! The 180 is plastic and sheetmetal. Not the type of gun for me personaly. The couple years wait to get a XCR was worth it!

synthetic, polymer, plastic= not metal. that is the only drawback to the ar180b imo. scarecrow= the us state department won't allow it, which sucks, because I would like ot put a collapsible stock on my xcr

You can get a folder and an AR stock adapter from RobArm, but they aren't allowed to export them from the US, yet... hopefully.

XCR is a nice rifle but I dont like the tube Stock, can you put a AR saddle type stock on it ?

AR15 - like rifle? Yup the AR180B with rail and M4 stock is a rather nice option. If its simply a non-restricted rifle that shoots AR15 mags I say go German :

Or German Swiss Just no AR mags. Which isn't always a bad thing.

Yeah, someone here in Kanuckistan needs to make an adapter for the xcr so it will take collapsible AR stocks.
