Um, hey guys, new to the forums.
Anybody know of any non-restricted heat-seeking assault rifles with the shoulder thing that goes up?

I am am pondering the same thing. I just dropped 3k on a Swiss Arms because it is non-restricted.

what modle swiss do you have?
 
SU-16f when it EVER comes in has a pistol grip/stock option that allows ar accessories, can be made too look very similar if you wanted.
Ar180b is about as close to a non-rest AR you can get.
XCR is along those lines as well...

If getting into the wider range of 5.56 rifles that accepts ar mags...

Sig specials....tavor...benelli MR1...

and ill add those csa 5.56 guns that they keep telling us ar magwell adaptors are incoming. Another if they EVER come in...

I can vouch for the Benelli mr-1 2000 rounds already no malfuctions and it seem to shoot everything within 2 inches, very impress with the fun factor to, a very well made rifle... JP.

Watch the movie Predator! It's a devastating puppy and small children killing weapon! It's accuracy comes from it's triangular three dot sighting system. It's been classified as prohibited but I forget which company it is, but they sent a 4 dot square sighting system in with a 18.5" barrel to see if it will pass as non-restricted. We are all hoping for an FRT# around the same time as the SCAR! Keep your fingers crossed!

You almost had it right... fixed now. ;)
 
There are no non restricted ar type rifles, they are all restricted or prohibited as variants of the m16. There are however as pointed out lots of non restricted semi auto rifles and carbines available. I own the xcr/223/7.62 and the ar180b and a mossberg tactical 22 (mossy is very cool for cheap 22 plinking with a m4 lookalike.) All mine are very fun and work great.
