Non restricted beretta storm carbine -19"

Mine was converted by Epps. Excellent accuracy, 100% functionality, nearing the end of my second case of ammo. Wonderful toy!

If you already have a restricted one, who's the best to send it to for re-barrelling to non Rest?

Barry at bits and pieces did mine. One thing I prefer is the bull barrel over the regular profile on the factory non restricted coming in. I've seen pics of one that was also fluted and it looked really cool. The bull barrel looks a lot better with the extra length.

that being said the price of the new non restricted are excellent. it's good that more people will enjoy these pistol carbines. I really like mine.

I just opened mine under the tree from Santa.
I must have been a good boy all year.
Should have seen the look on the in laws faces.:D

They stopped making it in .45 several years ago so you'd have to find a used one and change out the barrel then reclassify.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I thought it was still available. Oh well, 9mm is good too. I may have to add this carbine to my list.

For the NR 19" bbl,, only 5 rnds mags to keep it NR? unless you are at an approved range then 10 rnd mags ( restricted)will not make any difference. a little curious here.

Mag capacity and NR classification are completely independent. The NR CX4s ship with 2 10 round 92FS/M9 (i.e. pistol) mags, which are legal and have no effect on the rifle's NR classification. If the mags were stamped for the CX4 (i.e. a semi-auto rifle), they would need to be pinned to 5 rounds.

Correct. The early CX4 rifles came with 10 round mags that were stamped CX4 so they had to be returned to the dealers for exchange with 92FS mags (identical btw just more Canadian legal BS silliness).
