Non Restricted Black rifles??

kinda of a newb to the AR 180 and the 180b are both non restricted?
and if so.... can new/used lowers be purchased for either?
I have access to a complete pristine parts set for an original AR180 , minus lower, and am wondering if i should grab it. estimated value?? anyone

The AR180 is prohib, the 180B is non restricted I believe. The 180 was discontinued a long time ago, 180B is 'suspended' production (they'll keep all the tooling for it but they're focused on AR15 production right now).
I can't remember what differences are though between the 180 and 180B.
Beretta is coming out with the AR160 which looks quite interesting. It'll probably be an expensive sucker if it makes civilian side, but we'll see.
And Kodiak, that FN2000 is ###.

Interesting. I wonder if some one could manufacture a semi-auto receiver? Maybe there is some sort of trademark problems...or no market. Probably the lack of a market.

What caliber do the 180b's come in ?? Could you get them in say 308/ 30-06, ect or just 556?
There should be a sticky on this topic, probably with information about where to possibly locate rifles such as the 180B when they become available used.

There is no sticky because a sticky would provide a very convenient list of what to ban for the antis, where as otherwise they have to work for it.
I've heard that logic before but I don't buy it. The digging they would have to do would take them just a few minutes on this site, and I honestly think they already know what they want to target. The question is, are they going to try and confiscate stuff and not compensate the owners. That would be....... well there aren't words for it.
You see, we can confirm that anti's are lazy, because they are not willing to look at the facts. They go by what the media tells them. Because they are lazy and won't look at the facts, why do you think they will put in the effort to search for other things?

It's really quite a sad state the black gun selection is in here. There are so many beautiful firearms that in all rights we should be allowed to own.
But anyway, Yeah my vote is on trying to get a AR-180b.
On a side note, how much do mini's with the factory folders go for now?. I'v been interested in them for awhile now.
