I don't no about shooting game with one of these. I would prefer a more accuate gun for that job. (past 100 m ) With handloads and open sights of the shooting bench without rest i shoot about an 1 1/4 group with my gun. I don't think even with a scope I would be shooting much und 3/4" with that particular gun. If you still want to shoot yodlers with on, get closer then you don't need a scope. Other then that the gun is great fun to shoot. I like blasting milk jugs out to about 100 m . Put some red food coloring in it, its even more fun.
