I wonder which way the SVT 40 ejects the spent shells. Does it throw them upwards like the VZ 58 or does it wing them to the side?

If I ever get a SVT 40, I would also like to learn how to fit SVD mags to it as well.

Someone really should consider mass producing these... I think every firearms owner in Canada would want one.
