Non-Restricted High Point Carbine?

Hey I'm just wondering if anyone knows where or if I can get a non restricted high point carbine . I remember reading somewhere that there are 18.5 inch barrels high point made specifically for canadian shooters to make the carbines non restricted but I can't seem to find them any where. I guess they don't have them? I'd just like to get one as a bush plinker, they sure aren't pretty but they are cheap and apparently fairly reliable.

A member here had a restricted one rebarreled to Non-R and reclassified. It can be done but cost $$. You might as well buy a non-R PCC from the get go. There are a number to chose from. The Kel tec Sub 2K and Chiappa M1 in 9mm being the cheapest on up to the Thureon Carbine and JR Carbine's. There are even Berretta Non-R carbines now.

I spent along time doing the same research you are doing trying to figure it out , in the end I gave up and went and bought the TNW asr 9mm and I love it, hi point is in the past now lol

Yeah I'm pretty much at the same page . I'm just leaning to buy a tnw or just right
