Trying to decide on an optic for my NR Kriss. I'm sick of the backup sights, I hate them, lol.

Not sure what to go with but the few companies I'm considering are:

Eotech
Aimpoint
Meprolight
Leupold

I don't really know very much at all about optics. I know the field of vision in the Eotech vs. the Aimpoint is better because it's more open.

I know that the Meprolight M21 is the optic of choice for the Israeli Defence Force and that right there makes me want it.

Overall, some advice and user experiences would be great. I had a recently retired member of the Canadian Forces tell me that his Eotech failed him in Afghanistan and he'll never go back, but is a Mercedes Benz a piece of crap car if it has one or two engine problems? No. Every car will.

Help!!

Aimpoint are great optics. I just bought an aimpoint pro for 450$ including mount. That's a lot for the money but I have to admit that the micro is more ###y.....

If you want to plink and depend on fast target acquisition, the EOTech is a fantastic choice. However I have zero experience with anything else, so I'm of no use lol.

I'd actually really like the look of a Mepro21 on the Kriss. I'm coming back around to their bulls eye reticle and wanting one for myself.

Really????...I had one on my Tavor and didnt like it at all.. If you were inside it was ok or if you were in bright sunshine it was ok but.....if you were under cover and the sun was not shining directly on the optic, you could not see the reticle at all.
It was kind of blurry too when you could see it.

Is there a red dot sight that has magnification too? I know I can buy a magnifier as well as a red dot but I'm not a millionaire and can't afford spending $1000 + on optics for one gun.
