Non-restricted Kriss Vector - and related pistol caliber carbines!

Yes, the UMP is non-restricted with a 18.6" barrel and I totally agree with Stormy, having the freedom to hunt with it outweighs the LCF.

It is my understanding that any firearm that is not specifically named as restricted can be rebarreled to NR status if it satisfies the criteria for barrel and overall length and if it is not a variant of a named restricted.

With hearing protection on, it sounds just like a .45 hand gun, at least to me it does.

Cheers

Wow. I have no words. You owe me a keyboard, as drool has ruined this one. I will accept a meeting at the range with your "family" in lui of a keyboard.
You, sir, are my new guru of black guns.

Thanks for sharing!

So what im understanding is that if i were to buy a H&K UMP and have it rebarreled to 18.5", it would be NR?

And i take it that a regular UMP is restricted due to barrel length?

as for the OP, guns look great. but how front heavy is that Kriss?

Yes.

The UMP (well, semi-auto only versions) are not prohibited (either by function or OIC) and they are also not listed as Restricted by OIC, so their status as either a Restricted firearm or a Non-restricted firearm is based solely on barrel length and OAL.
