Re open bolt. My commando LDP fires from an open bolt and is semi auto of course.

Open bolt designs are not prohibited in Canada but they are more difficult to get approved. These belts would have to be limited to 5 rds.

You could, but then it would be illegal. Belts that are pre-1945 are exempt. The belts for the M-60 were designed in the 1950's.
