I find it rather "lovely"

I am sick of so many stupid laws and restrictions. The fact that the 18.5" version is non-res is very welcomed, at least by me

I thought they were prohib for some reason.
The information in my previous post can be confirmed by any verifier, but in spite of the fact that there are many of them on this site, they very seldom join in some of this discussions to clarify the things.
I don't see why they would be prohibs

They cannot fire folded, they cannot be easily converted, they are long enough. If they have prohib them by name, I did not see it in OCC last time I checked and they forgot to send me a letter saying that and to any of the other people I know they legally own one

I certainly hadn't heard of any in Canada.
They are not too many, but they pop up once in a while. From the initial order with 18.5" barrels, I have seen one last spring, somebody adapted an aluminum hand guard (not a bad idea, but a little bit of bubba if you ask me), and I know someone in BC interior who wants to sell (or trade, or something), but I don't like to deal by mail, so I wait till september when I go there - if it is going to be still available

and if I like it.
If you watch, you will find one

Or Questar is said to be able to import the newer Sub 2000 (restricted only, 16").

I'm assuming by your pic with the tape measure that the arm in question is non-res?

yes, that's why I put the tape measureby the gun, so anybody can see the barrel lenght

plus the quotation from the CFC disc.
pitdogboy, I remember you had an WTB ad few weeks back, I am suprised you didn't find any...

But be careful what you wish for. Make sure you make an informed decision before you buy. In general, they are not bad, but like any other gun, they have a little bit of issues.
They are a pain in the ass to work on the internals. Only once I opened one, and it is more painful than a root canal
The chamber size is on the "lose" side, probably because it is a straight blow-back. They tend to slightly smoke the receiver and the mag, but it depends on the ammo as well, and the recoil spring can be easily opened and shimmed to make it stiffer to open the bolt slower to get rid of the smoking.
If you did't fire one yet, first time you'll be suprised how much the little cartrige can KICK in a straight blow back action and a long barrel. I don't see this as a problem, but they do have some recoil.
I did not chrono any, but I heard it spits a 125gr bullet at some 1800 ft/sec, depending of the load.
It fits excellent a small day-backpack and the deployment from folded to open is about one second and maybe another two seconds to chamber it provided the mag is in the gun already. I'm not going to go into a debate on the little bullet against a 400lbs kodiak, for this there are lots of bear defense profesionals on this site

who are more than happy to find this oportunity
They have the best ghost ring I have ever seen, the back ring superposes over the front post hood, I find that nice if I want to shoot in a rush in low-light
You can find lots of threads on US forums regarding Kel-Tec folders and lots of advice, choices on accessories and after-market things. I have put on some of mines muzzle compensators, rails, overmolded grips, lasers, etc.
Go and read some of those threads and if you still like them, you can order from Queststar.
