Non-restricted, pistol caliber, semi-auto rifles. Do they exist?

The JR carbine looked interesting until I watched a video on how to disassemble it. Two screws? An allen key? A hammer? A tourque wrench???

Amateur hour, at best....

I have the Kriss, A JR carbine in 9 mil and a kel tek sub2 K in 9 mil.
I do not find the JR anymore difficult to clean than my other two sub carbines.
What I do find disturbing about the screws is there possible life span. I think screws are a design weakness.( it would be very difficult to strip a pin)
I have be told that the thureon defence breaks down like the Kriss via pins.
I am just waiting for the glock magazine version to become readily available.
If it looks like a better design I will move the JR on and buy it.

The kel tek's strongest point in my opinion is that it folds in half.
That said the plastic front site is junk, and you have to jump through a lot of hoops to put a red dot on it.

I do not have any issues with the design of the Kriss. That said I have noticed that it like the expensive ammo.

LOL , Have you tried the sponsors ? Gary at Wanstalls hooked me up with mine.
Shoot him a email and see when the next batch is due.
My problem is that I am much better at buying things than selling them!!

Took the NR CX4 to farm last night, between storm and antique Colt 1873 revolver we put down 500 rounds against some cans, boy that was fun, nothing like mixing old with new, only regret was that I should have brought more ammo.

I've tried everyone. Nobody has one in stock....

It's easy to sell to me! With EMT you could have the cash in your hands in a matter of minutes!!:D

I think that would depend on the availability/cost of commercial ammunition. I've just could never seem to get that excited over the USC/UMP. Not sure why that is...

I know there are plans to bring out a redesigned Kriss in 9mm and .40S&W, but I have zero interest in that because they'll apparently be moving to a proprietary magazine at the same time. And that translates into "limited to 5 rounds" in Canada, because you can no longer use the Glock pistol magazines.

Converting to .40 super would really mean taking a .45ACP variant and re-barreling it for .40super, so it would be a gunsmith/aftermarket thing. I'm converting my 1911, but if I really like the cartridge i wouldn't mind having something with a longer barrel in it.
