Nope. It's the GUN the mag is designed for. So because they are ar mags if you take the pin out it becomes a prohibited device.

But if you could have mags made that said for the xyz pump action rife..........
you'd be good to go...........

AR rifle mags cannot exceed 5 rounds in Canada, as everyone here knows. But on the other hand, magazines that could only fit the 7615 doesn't suffer capacity restriction

Everyone? LAR ten rounders? again it's the GUN the mag is designed for!
 
TeflonJohn, you see in the pic I posted of the 7615, the smaller magazine to the left is exclusive to the rifle. It's a 10 round magazine that was, unfortunately, pinned to only 5 rounds. Since it was pinned at factory, I think it'd be illegal to unpin - as read on previous CGN post about same issue. If it was a 10, 20 or 30 round capacity mag from factory, than that should be ok. Messed up, eh?
