Winchester short mag and some wildcat has been done to the AR10 platform before.

You need to open the bolt face to wsm size, enlarge the ejection port, rechamber the barrel to 300wsm add an adjustable gas block and that should be it but any caliber other than the 300wsm will need a new barrel plus modifying the bolt face.

300wsm will feed from mag except your max O.A.L will be limited.

I read up on that. Was quite the endeavour they were on. Ended up have to make a "pig tail" gas tube to slow the gas down enough even with the adj gas block. I think they ended up cutting the front of the mag out the get longer rounds in it. They had bad feeding issues too. I'd run one in a heart beat.

I would be interested in a STAG 10 in 6 creedmoor all you need is the barrel since its just a 6.5 necked down . There is way more options for bullet weights with a 6mm.
