None restricted black rifle

Hi, so I was looking to get a new rifle 5.56 caliber
I don't know what to get it have to be non restricted since I shoot on a crown land and please keep it around 1000
 
Norinco 97 , $1000.. Ruger mini 14 $900 (add a few hundred for pistol grip and 10 rnd mag adapter)....Keltec SU16 $800 ( add another $300 for pistol grip and forend). VZ 58 $1000. All these are your $1000 range. They all do basically the same thing and are about 2 to 3 Moa. Your nex step up is the Tavor and XCR $2500 , better build quality but still does the same as the first bunch. Next up is the $3000 + ACR and SL8? Better accuracy but not a tac driver ( unless you call 1 ish Moa ,tac driving):)

I agree , no true Black NR, and even if you spend the $3000 , you won't be satisfied with it. I had an XCR-L ,and though it was a nice rifle , I sold it. I'm now waiting on a Colt SA15 and my second SU16. 2 for the price of 1.

Yup, traded my XCR-L for a Colt Canada IRU and SA20 lower.
 
This question get's asked every week. We need to sticky a list of non-restricted semi autos by price. I think it would help people like the OP a lot.

That's actually a good idea, because like yourself, I've noticed that this tends to be an incredibly common question being asked. Maybe someday the AR will pass into NR status (dream on, right?) and then this question will become rare.

I know a guy who just got his PAL and he seems very interested in acquiring a T97, knowing the price would be right for him and that the thing is NR.
 
I have a su-16 I love this thing I made a few change and I can use it predators hunting



or go the sks way very good gun for the price

I just ordered one, I had one before and liked it , so I ordered another one.
 
sks, cant go wrong, best trunk gun ever, 200 bucks, cheap ammo, you can get soft points for hunting too, if youre lucky youll have one with good sights and youll group about 5 inches at 100 yards.

it always, always goes bang and it looks awesome.
