the mossberg tactical, imo, is crap. I owned one and it is the first and only gun ive sold. I hated the pos shell. Comes apart with like 15 wood screws. literally wood screws that pierce the plastic. felt loose, rattled, mag didnt fit nicely.
it functioned alright. When it was clean it wouldn't fail to fire or eject. After 100 rounds down the pipe it would start failing and another 100 rounds and it would fail every mag.
plastic sights were a joke. fairly accurate after i put a red dot on it. but in order to do a full strip you have to take the 2 piece shell off and have to re zero it. needed to be cleaned after every 100 rounds.
id say get anything other than the mossberg tactical. 10/22 is cool because of the aftermarket stuff.
