So, I have bought the CZ evo 3. As it will only be fired at a range, I’m looking for any suggestions on a red dot that is, hopefully with Black Friday, on sale or at least not too expensive.

I’ve looked at the Sig Romeo 4h - 499$ but I’ve only found it sold at one store. What about the Bushnell engage or trs 25?

It’s for my son and I to shoot targets.
Any help on suggestions would be very very appreciated.

Thank you.
Damn, this hobby is expensive.

I’d look at a Vortex Strikefire or Sparc.

They reasonably priced, lifetime warranty, and work great. I have two Evo’s (one NR and one R) and they are both wearing strikefires. If your looking for good deals check the EE. In the last few weeks I’ve picked up 3 new or lightly Stikefires for between $120 - $175 shipped.

Not inexpensive, but I ran mine with an Aimpoint T1 in an ADM low mount. Fit perfectly, I'm no fan of putting big bulky optics and rifles that I supposed to be "small and compact".

If you want budget friendly, id check out holosun. I've heard from a few trusted industry guys that they're almost on par with Aimpoint quality.

For the money you cannot beat Holosun, I've owned everything mentioned here and still own most, but the Holosun is hands down my favorite. The features you get even in the 403( bottom of the line) for $200 or so are awesome, 50,000hr battery life, auto on/off(move the gun, sight turns on, leave it for 4 hrs, sight turns off) , 2moa dot is much easier to be accurate with, caps on windage and elevation are designed to use for adjustments( no tool needed) and it is tough as nails.

I have a bunch of them, both older and newer production, and have had good luck with them. What issues have you had? Honestly curious.

Cheers
Curious also, never had a problem with a trs25, always been dependable for me. I'm actually very interested in hearing some reviews on the new trs 26
