did not tape it but had a physically disabled buddy knock one buck down. he hollered to me to check on his kill. I went to where the deer was suppose to be...and only found a broken antler...guess he knocked the buck out and soon after it recovered and managed to run away. not a speck of blood. The buck in the post looks like a jaw shot and broken lower jaw. not a chest hole so i guess it was knocked out also. not much blood.

Lol had that happen to me at about 14 years old with my first deer, my reaction was a little different, the buck jumped up, I shouldered the 06 and bam the buck went down. It does scare the #### out of you when your not expecting it.

Like someone said if it's eyes are closed it's alive. I saw this the other day and amazing how the deer hopped to its feet from its side and bounce away hahahaha
