Hello I have a noob question.
typically i have been using 124 grain FMJ ammo with my m&P 9. However i accedently picked up some 115 grain 9mm fmj ammo, what should the difference be when i use this ammo with the m&p?

I've shot 115, 124 and 147 through an M&P, really you can't feel any of them, or tell the difference between them. Soft is soft, recoil in the M&P 9 is almost unnoticeable. Oh yes, and I put some CF spec 124 gr 9 mm through it (that is full NATO spec with crimped in primers) it was really soft too.

Accuracy is a function of the shooter. At distances of 25 yards, the weight if the projectile makes no difference. Nor does the brand or projectile style. These are all common excuses for poor marksmanship.

I myself only shot 124gr reloads in the gun :) but different bullet wights or different ammo in general can be more or less accurte that what you were shooting. the recoil will depend on the actual load...
