Looking for a scope for the .308 savage axis. Not planning on going beyond 250-300 yards. Any issues with the hawke eclipse 30 sf 6-24 x 50?

Other than anti-china purist hate:), any one buy one from d and L in BC that can provide a review?

Thanks in advance!

If your going to get a hawks the tactical series are decent. Good glass, repeatable and overall good bang for your buck.

if you are only shooting out to 250 - 300 you dont need a tactical scope, i would buy an older leupold 3-9 you can get them on the equipment exchange for $200-$300 or a redfield they have now been bought out by leupold and are great quality for a couple hundered dollars i paid $200 for mine new. you will get much better quality glass for the price, and no worries about holding your zero. bushnell, and nikon might be others to look at.

I just bought a varmint SF 4-16x44 from d&l. Service was excellent and would purchase from them again without hesitation. As far as the scope, it seems decent for what I paid for it. If I was looking for an everday hunting rifle scope this wouldn't be my first choice due to smaller eye box and eye relief.
