what calibers are available for the AR.

I am not sure, but I know that with the proper Upper system, you can fire:

-5.56
-7.62
-6.8
-9MM

The Remington R-15 also adds .204 Ruger at the moment, and the R-25 is currently available in .243, .308 and 7mm-08 also.

I have no idea if these will attach to other manufacturer's lowers though, or if they're even in Canada yet.

w w w.sirmailorder.ca shows the remington r-15 as a rifle that you can order, so i'm left to assume they wouldn't put it up unless they at least had some to sell in canada.
