I'm looking for some really small 9mm rounds to load in 9x25 Dillon, or even some superfast 9mm rounds.

I see on a dealers website that they have 100gr, .380ACPbullets (.355)

Can I use these to load superfast small 9mm or 9x25 Dillon rounds or should I just stick to the available 115gr 9mm bullets? Both are shown to be .355 so that is why I figure it should work, just not tooooo sure.

Please enlighten me......................

OK maybe I ask to long winded questions. How about this.

Can I load 100gr (.355) bullets that are for a 380ACP, in 9mm cases?

Both bullets are shown to be .355 diameter, so it should fit in the case, but why is it listed as 380ACP.

For reference I'm looking at the frontier 100gr plated bullets.

Need some advice..........

Yes they will work and can be used safely provided you follow some tested "recipe". I'm not sure why they're listed as .380 bullets - maybe the cannelure is set for proper COAL in the .380 and not other 9mm chamberings.

http://data.hodgdon.com/cartridge_load.asp

I don't see why not, hodgdon has load data for bullets even lighter than that

Cheers

I assume that your load will be for IPSC. Try to load a few and see if it'll ramp up to chamber. When i had my 9x25 it was hard on the gun and comp and i was using 115 gr

if you are shooting them for IPSC you cannot use them in a match. until June 30 the lightest bullet you can use is 112 grains. July 1 we go back to IPSC rules and the lightest is 120 grains. just an FYI for you if you are shooting IPSC.

Thanks for the advice.

No I don't plan on shooting this in IPSC. I just want to play with this different caliber in my glock. I like the power and muzzle blast and noise it will apprently make. I guess I'm just sick that way.

Thanks again.
