After unsuccessfully trying to GOOG an answer. Something is telling me it might be done on purpose.

I have a 1930's Belgian and when I look down the barrel from the business end, one barrel is thicker than the other.

Is this normal?

Thanks!

Usually in SxS's the right hand barrel is fired by the front trigger hence it has the more open choke. So if it looks to have a bigger ID that's the reason, if the left hand barrel looks bigger there's something else going on. That's right side as you shoulder the gun.
