Noob to SKS

Mine is a Chinese Factory 636, all matching numbers, and no bayonet also, but a longer barrel, and yes metal buttplate...the cleaning kit is kind'a neat.

I can hardly wait to try it.

Another interesting sidenote, if you are serious about an SKS, I ordered another one from SIR about a week ago and it arrived today It's a factory 26 model, threaded barrel, all numbers matching, and appears to unfired!!! SIR is currently selling them for $159.99, and they're going fast, so I'd hurry if I were you Good luck!
