Hi all, i was refered here from someone I buy machinery from.

Its great being part of a local/semi-local community!

I Belong to several large online forums surrounding automotive, dirtbike & machining, and moderate on one of them (calgary based)

Anyways, I have always liked firearms but I never did anything about it until Grandpa got old and decided to start getting rid of his stuff. Some of the "stuff" I got from him were an old rimfire 3030 and his old side by side 12ga. He still has ALOT more "stuff" to get rid of shortly but he still wants to "hang on to it" hehe for the time being. (poor gramps!)

This prompted me to get my PAL (done at ITTA, [RPAL]) and transfer the reggy to me.

Since then I bought myself a savage 22 and finally indulged my long time intrest into shooting!

Here is a pic of my current arsenal

From top to bottom:

-double barrel 10ga break. Only markings: J.Cooper.

-Standard Arms Co. 1910 30cal rimfire Pump. Nice old rifle. I have about 100 rounds of old ammo for it but I doubt I will shoot it...

-New purchase (@ proline), Savage 64, Bosch & Loam 3-9*40 scope.

Welcome. I just took my PAL/RPAL at ITTA yesterday. Were you there or was it an earlier class? There was 55 people in the PAL and 38 in the RPAL yesterday. Lots of new shooters.

That 10g DB must sure pack a wallop!

Welcome aboard.
You're inheriting guns faster than I am.

Time for some restricteds?

Kris

P.S. Hasn't anyone told you that killing gophers is wrong? j/k
