Nor NZ 75 and 22 Conversion kit

Does anybody know if a CZ kadet conversion kit will fit on an NZ 75. I realize as a clone that sometimes parts are just not interchangeable due to specs.

I also realize that the kadet will be more expensive then the actual NZ but if I like this then I can upgrade to a CZ 75 later.

I thought I read about the slide on the Norc being a slightly different dimension. I wouldn't think it would work but I bet 10000 people know better than me.
 
I tried to find out a while ago. The most authoritative answer I got was "probably not." But I think the only way to be sure is get (maybe borrow) a Norinco and a Kadet conversion kit together and try it.

(No, I don't have a Norinco or a Kadet conversion kit to lend.)
 
I have an NZ85 and its dimensions are noticeably different from those of a genuine CZ -- it won't fit in a Fobus holster made for a CZ. (Someone posted here that there are several Norinco factories and the accuracy of their reproductions varies considerably from one to another.)

So don't count on it.

Just so i understand this point. The Tanfoglio/EAA Witness is a copy of the CZ and the Norinco NZ 75 is a copy of the Tan/EAA Witness. So perhaps the EAA 22 conversion kit will work on the NZ 75.

Did I understand your comment correctly.
 
That is where I am going with that...unless the Chinese changed dimensions. Compare the TZ75 and the NZ75 and you will see. At least it is more likely that it would work. Ask Sean at Freedom Ventures.
 
I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings but no; they're not even close.
I bought both hoping to save a few bucks but I was lucky in that I could return the NZ unfired.

After returning the NZ, what did you purchase. What is your setup -- 9mm and 22 combo.

I am planning on getting a 9mm and a 22 conversion kit. My initial idea was the CZ 75 and kadet.

Anybody have any other recommendations?
 
Well, if someone has the tools and skills to manufacture a NZ specific kit and just happens to like money... :D
