Norc 1911 9mm, grip screws metric?

Short version; Are Norinco grip screws metric? If yes, does anyone know the thread size & pitch for sure?

Full version; I'm looking at purchasing a new to me Norinco 1911 in 9mm very soon, and I'm getting conflicting information on what Norinco used for grip screws. Some videos say "standard", others said "it's Chinese and they made modifications to use metric". This will be my first 1911 so I'm still in the shallow end here. I know from handling them in stores I don't care for the stock grips. My Jericho is fitted with a Hogue and I do like that one. Can anyone confirm what grip screw threads are used?

The screws are standard Colt. The bushings are metric, but you don't need to touch those.

For grips I have found HOUGE palm swell grips feel good. Also cheap at less then 30 bucks. No grove for the mag release button. Function over looks for me.
