So i bought some wolf reloads . 45 , and wow they see to go everywhere but where im aiming.. has anyone had this problem with the reloads , Ive used factory american eagles and they shoot straight ?

I was wondering about that too... But I don't have anything else to compare with so I'll just ask a couple of members at the club to shoot my pistol and see what they think.
BTW, I bought the Wolf 230gr LRN and I shoot a full size Sig 1911.

x 2 here, shot two boxes 230 FMJ and not happy with the accuracy
prefer the cheap Blazer or UMC if I'll find more old stock priced

Reliable Gun in Vancouver sell 45ACP AE/Blazer 1000 brick for $415. that's $ 20.75/box

I only bought 200 rounds - mainly for the price... - at my local store. They were $17 and change per box but the same ammo would cost me $25 a box at the gun show.
BTW, I had one FTF last weekend. It's not the gun, I'm sure.

I have used Wolf 9mm (135gr LRN) is 7 differnt pistols and it worked perfectly and was quite accurate.

The fact that the ammo did not work in your pistol most probably just measn that the two are incompatible.

It is not unusual to find a ammo combo that does not work in a particualr gun, or an ammo combo that is outstanding. It pays to try differnt laods or brands till you find what is avergae and what is better.

Since nobody else asked, what is your experience level with handgun?

If you are relatively new to handgunning, try benchresting it, and really taking your time, making sure to maintain a good smooth trigger pull, and really focus on that front site.

I have shot exactly 4850 (have 150 left of the 5000 I bought) rounds of the 230 grain TMJ .45ACP wolf reloads through my 1911, and have had very few problems with malfunctions, FTF, FTE, etc.

That said, I have also bought reloads from other (only one actually) companies that would group no better then 8" at 10 meters benchrested, and 1 in two on the paper were keyholed, so the bullets were tumbling.

Try benchresting it, and really concentrate on your sight picture and a smooth trigger pull. That will determine if it is the ammo or a simple problem of you jerking the trigger/ trying to compensate for the recoil.

Let us know how it goes.
