I have a Norinco 1911 Gov't Model. It feeds and ejects just fine until the last round and then 50% of the time fails to eject the last case, which lays in the feed way and gets mashed into the front edge of the ejection port. What's the problem? Any info appreciated.

Are you using winclean ammo, or HP ammo? if so i have also had that problem sometimes. I have found that it need to eat the round nose ammo to feed all the time.

I'm certainly no expert on the 1911, but pretty good at trouble shooting(no pun intended). Factory ammo, reloads, or only certain factory ammo??

Does this occur with every magazine, or only one of them??

If you loaded 6,5,4,3 or 2 rounds, would this still happen??

Do you have a buddy with a 1911 that you could compare the extractor profile or ??

Food for thought. Good luck.

happened with my norc commander, Only on the last round in a mag. My prob was solved by tightening the tension on the extractor. Remove the extractor, flip it around & using the slide to hold it, bend it SLIGHTLY & reinstall. It should hold the rim tighter so it doesnt slip down.
