Norc 1911 renovation, new finish complete.

The oxide looked great at first but it would show nicks and scratches very easy. On top of that black oxide has no real corrosion resistance. I liked the two tone look but I didn't want to keep sand blasting the frame when ever it started to rust, which can happen real quick if some one who doesn't handle a lot of metal touches it. The plan was to leave the frame in the solution for less time then the other parts but when I did the first inspection it was allready more on the dark side of grey.
 
Cut the spur off because it was too damn big to fit in the beavertail pocket, and to make it look better, I'll end up putting a CmC or an STI in eventually
