Norc 1911A giving me a haircut on ejection

This is the only 1911 i have fired but the spent shells come right back at me. Is this indicative of the design? can the extractor be adjusted? Cheers
 
True story, my Norc 1911 from the CanAm deal does this too.

I just thought it was the way it ejects as the other two guys with Can Am 1911 deals did the same thing?
 
My Norc 1911 has actually left a couple of cuts on my forehead. I'd love to hear a fix for sending the spent casings somewhere other than straight at me!
 
Once thing you can do is hold on tight and keep the muzzle down on recoil. The circular forehead marks are kinda cute though.

Mine throws them over my right shoulder, landing about 10 feet to the right and about 10 feet behind. Consistently enough that I fired 300 rounds the other day and found every single piece of brass without issue. I would be some pissed off if they were hitting me in the face. I don't know how to help, just offering moral support.
 
I varied my grip tension through 100 rounds to no effect. mine arent popping up and raining down on me they come straight back and hard so that im pulling trigger then bobbing and weaving in anticipation lol. I will try and adjust the extractor as suggested. Thanks for the feedback

This right here should help. If you remove your ejector and take a little off to give it a high contact point (the red angle in the picture), it will eject the brass to the side instead of straight back. When working on the ejector, take a bit off at a time and try it until you're satisfied.
