bud Im sorry but I cant remember, I will also add that if you take the small plug out this is a three in the tube one in the chamber shotgun. It also measures 26 inches on the nose.

Affirmative. The 26" OAL has to be taken with the stock (if collapsible and/or telescopic) at the shortest setting. If it falls short of 26" , then you have definitely broken the law.

Unless when it folds you can't fire it ie some Remington stocks fold and cover the trigger they might be long enough.

take the plastic spring retainer out of the mag tube and it goes from 2+1 to 3+1

The problem with the plastic one is it gets stuck sometimes if you load it because it get stuck on the stimples. I changed it with a metal one and now it works fine.
