Hi everybody! I’m looking at Norc 1911 pistol but I don’t really know about them. I heard about the ‘NEW’ one with trigger improvement, Etc. Is it for all models? Witch one is the best for the money? I like commander size like the NP-30 nickel or a 1911 A1C.

I’M waiting about your comment and reviews. Thank you for your help.
P.S Is it possible to see more picture of your Norc? Original as possible…

Here's my Compact. Armco tuned, the only non-Norc parts are the sights, grips and extended safety. This pistol has 3,500+ rounds on it (I don't really count any more) and functions flawlessly, in addition to being extremely accurate. Trigger pull is 3 1/2 lbs.

Getting the pistol from Gunnar at Armco (or getting him to tune one for you) is something I'd strongly recomend, it gives you an amazingly accurate, reliable and shootable pistol for very little in the way of cost.

If your in Ontario send Roger Katanko an e-mail dark international he can build you a nice nork 1911

I have 2 Commander Norcs (1 Armco built) that I don't shoot and use as showpiece/display guns to convert Liberal minded people into gunowners. It's working.
Best value in a decent firearm, IMO.

My only 45 is a Norc 1911A1.

Got it in a trade, the fella said it got a quick tune-up from a gunsmith.

I swapped out the grips and ditched the ambi-safety.

Took it out to the range and couldn't be happier.

Not one FTF and it's pretty accurate too.

One of the best bang for the buck out there in the 1911 market.

From what I've hear the newer Norcs are even better fit & finish wise.

I have 3 of them. A Commander, an older blue 1911 and a new 2-tone. the two big ones were tuened up by Rodger Kotanco. Much nicer triggers now and new sights installed. Hogue rubber grips.

Accurate, reliable and inexpensive.

I prefer the full-sized ones to the commander.
